  • by

Kane Brown has always shown support for underprivileged and at-risk youth by being a dedicated advocate for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and similar programs since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist. This dedication to helping those in need has recently earned him a significant award.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and prioritizing various philanthropic endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their community in their career.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strive to offer a welcoming community and opportunities for children, particularly those facing economic hardships. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the safe and supportive environment that the organization aims to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also personally helped children by giving them tickets and backstage access to an event, as well as sharing his own story with them during dinner. He has also been involved in rebuilding a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Additionally, he funded the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
