Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has consistently shown support for underprivileged children through his work as a mainstream country artist. He has been a strong advocate for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to their communities.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, a chance for opportunity and a welcoming environment. Brown, who faced challenges like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed that he wishes he had the support and safety that the organization works to offer to young people.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also offered experiences to children. For example, he gave tickets and backstage access to a group of 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, and even shared his own story with them during dinner. Additionally, he has helped revive a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in previous years. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and others. Tracy Lawrence was the winner of the award last year.
