Kane Brown has been recognized with a significant award for his dedication to supporting underprivileged children through organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Since the beginning of his career as a country artist, Brown has consistently shown his commitment to providing opportunities for at-risk youth.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and focusing on other charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out every year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to the community in their professional endeavors.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to give kids from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges, a chance for success and belonging. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, has expressed a desire for the same kind of supportive environment that the organization offers for young people.
Aside from giving money, such as funding the remodeling of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given opportunities to children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story with them. Additionally, he has undertaken efforts to revive a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country music artist's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored with the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
In the past, artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Tracy Lawrence have won the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award.
