You have arrived at your destination. Sennheiser has released the HD 490 PRO headphones

Sennheiser has introduced the HD 490 PRO headphones. The company states that these new headphones provide excellent clarity, comfort, and reliability, and are designed to meet the needs of today's music production.

The HD 490 PRO series guarantees a natural and accurate sound quality without any distortion, delivering a dynamic and authentic audio experience across all frequencies from 5Hz to 36.1kHz (-10dB). These headphones come with two sets of ear pads that are tailored for music production and mixing, aiming to reduce ear fatigue and enhance precision when identifying different frequencies during critical listening sessions.

The HD 490 PRO headphones feature an open-back design and utilize neodymium magnets and Sennheiser's unique low-frequency cylinder system. This design is meant to provide a complete and precise low end sound, allowing for accurate capture of low frequencies.

Sennheiser created these headphones with a focus on comfort, ensuring they are lightweight and flexible to prevent any discomfort during long studio sessions. The Open-frame Architecture in the HD 490 PRO series by Sennheiser helps to reduce distortion and resonance for a better audio experience.

The headphones come with a plug-in called Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE, which utilizes spatial audio technology to create a virtual mixing space that mimics the sound characteristics of different real-life studios and locations when using headphones.

The HD 490 PRO Plus comes with a longer 3m cable, an extra headband pad, and a carrying case included.

The HD 490 PRO series comes in two options – HD 490 PRO and HD 490 PRO Plus. Both options include the HD 490 PRO headphones along with a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter, a 1.8 m cable, mixing and producing ear pads. The HD 490 PRO Plus also includes an extra headband pad, a 3 m cable, and a case.

The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones are currently in stock and can be purchased for $399£349 for the basic PRO model and $479£399 for the PRO Plus version.
