  • by

Loretta Lynn's son, Ernest Ray Lynn, who is 69 years old, recently underwent surgery to treat his kidney failure. However, the initial outcome of the procedure suggests that it did not achieve the desired level of success as anticipated by the doctors.

Crystal, the wife of Ernest, shared an update with fans on Thursday (Jan. 25) regarding his recent operation. She had earlier mentioned on Facebook that this was the day when doctors would give more details on the outcome of the surgery.

In her update, she expressed that the day did not go as expected, but they are determined to persevere. They have complete faith and confidence that the operation will be successful and that their needs will be met by the Lord. They kindly request specific prayers for the device to start working for them the following morning. They firmly believe in God and the strength of prayer, and are grateful for the ongoing prayers, support, and friendship.

As of Sunday, Crystal has not provided any new official information about Ernest. However, she has taken to social media to inform fans that they are still praying for her husband. Additionally, she has shared a collection of photos of Ernest, some of which seem to have been taken while he was in the hospital.
