Wyatt Flores Releases Heartfelt Ballad “Milwaukee” as a Love Letter to Love Lost

  • by

Wyatt Flores expresses his emotions on a heartfelt new track titled 'Milwaukee', which serves as a tribute to a past love.

Wyatt Flores, a talented singer from Oklahoma, has returned with a heartfelt breakup song called "Milwaukee." This track is one of his recent releases following the success of his EP Life Lessons, which gained popularity in 2023.

According to Flores, Milwaukee represents those moments when you have cared for someone but not completely. It serves as a heartfelt message to the love that has been lost and reflects upon the errors that were made. Flores believes that our mistakes should not define us, and Milwaukee embodies this notion. Love requires effort and if it is not nurtured, it can easily be lost.

"In a certain area of Milwaukee, the concrete is blanketed in snow, and as I watch, you walk away," Flores expresses in the first verse. "I attempted to apologize, but the cold rain continued to pour, and I couldn't find the right words to make you stay." Towards the end of the song, Flores pleads with his former partner, saying, "Please, don't hold anger towards my heart."

Flores collaborated with Graham Barham, Gavin Lucas, and Cole Miracle on the song "Milwaukee." This is his first new music release since his album Life Lessons. As a Christmas gift to his fans, he also released his own version of the Fray's "How to Save a Life," which he had previously performed in concert.

Despite not having released a full-length album yet, she went from performing to a sold-out crowd at the Basement East in Nashville in August to booking two nights at the prestigious Ryman Auditorium in December.

According to the press release that came with the song "Milwaukee", it is the first glimpse of a collection of new music that will be released this year. Prior to that, Flores has already begun his highly successful Life Lessons 2024 Tour, which began in Tampa last night and will continue until May 10. The tour includes a performance at the Stagecoach festival in Indio, California.
