"We will be conducting auditions and using various methods to discover new talents," Parton explains. "I believe this will also be enjoyable for the audience. It's exciting because we can find these individuals in unexpected places. They might not have any prior experience on stage or might have only performed in small local theaters. Nonetheless, our search for these hidden gems will be a thrilling part of the process."
Dolly Parton has mentioned the possibility of a musical about her life before, mentioning it in various interviews. She expressed her desire to have the show produced by "late '25," as she shared in her recent conversation with People magazine.
