Country music artists Eric Church and Morgan Wallen have made a foray into the publishing industry by acquiring Field & Stream magazine. The "Field & Stream 1871 Club" offers different subscription levels for subscribers to choose from. These levels range in price from $15 to $95 per year and give members online access to new stories about hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, as well as access to the F&S archives. Subscribers who opt for the top two tiers will also receive a print magazine, which is published twice a year and measures 11 x 14. In addition to these benefits, members will also receive exclusive accessories like bandannas and hats, as well as early access to live events and product purchases. This may even include tickets to a music festival that is likely to feature the new owners as headliners.

Church and Wallen have recently partnered with a group of investors to acquire the Field & Stream retail brand and the media component from Recurrent. The previous owners of these assets were Dick's Sporting Goods and a digital media company, respectively.

Church stated that his grandfather used to keep some of his preferred Field & Stream magazines on the dashboard of his truck. These magazines held great importance for Church, serving as his guiding principles. He feels incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to ensure that this legacy continues. Church sees it as his duty to uphold the values of an American Icon and to provide inspiration to young boys, just like he was when he sat in his grandfather's truck. This sense of responsibility will serve as the guiding force in their actions.

Wallen expressed his love for spending time with friends in various outdoor settings such as around a campfire, on a boat, or in a deer stand. He believes that Field & Stream embodies these experiences for him. He is thrilled to be a part of the future of Field & Stream and hopes to continue bringing people together in the outdoors, creating lasting memories for future generations.
