Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully engaged in preparing for their upcoming arrival. Summer recently provided a glimpse into her ongoing pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on her Instagram Stories.
During the weekend (January 27th), the spouse of the singer responded to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. One of the questions was about how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they were not attempting to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant with their one-year-old daughter Presley.
Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child named Presley. They tried for a duration of two years and were advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, as soon as they decided to let go of their worries and stress, they miraculously conceived naturally. This experience led them to start trying for another baby in October, just in case they encountered another prolonged journey.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been actively trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After taking the test and seeing it turn negative, she felt disappointed, so she threw it away and went back to sleep.
Luckily, the story didn't end there. Summer decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and recheck it a couple of hours later. Surprisingly, the test showed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to the rapid results of COVID-19 tests and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This surprise was mainly due to the fact that she had experienced very different symptoms during this pregnancy compared to her first one. During this time, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was expecting a boy. She even had a nursery theme planned out based on this assumption.
Earlier in the current month, the Pardis decided to have a straightforward gender reveal by uncovering pink slips of paper hidden beneath two slices of a pepperoni pizza. Despite both Summer and her spouse, who is a country singer, being taken aback by the news of expecting another daughter, she expresses their overwhelming excitement about the upcoming addition to their family.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I cannot completely rule out the possibility, we currently do not have any intentions of having a third baby.
Although this couple agrees on many aspects of parenthood, they are currently having a disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer reveals that Pardi, who had previously chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child and believes he gets to choose the name again. As a result, they are currently not speaking to each other, although she states that she is joking. Summer also shares a list of her favorite potential names, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer got married in 2020 and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they revealed the pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors but took a break from trying to conceive. Surprisingly, they became pregnant soon after.
