Eric Church and Morgan Wallen: Revitalizing Field & Stream Magazine for a New Generation

  • by

Eric Church and Morgan Wallen have taken on a new role as owners of 'Field & Stream' magazine.

Eric Church and Morgan Wallen have decided to enter the publishing industry by purchasing Field & Stream magazine. They plan to revive the brand and transform it into a print magazine, website, and apparel company. Additionally, they have intentions to organize a live music festival under the Field & Stream brand. This move puts them in the same league as media magnate William Randolph Hearst.

The "Field & Stream 1871 Club" offers different subscription tiers for its subscribers. These tiers range from $15 to $95 per year and each tier provides online access to new hunting, fishing, and outdoor stories, as well as access to the F&S archives. Subscribers who choose the top two tiers will also receive the Field & Stream print magazine, which is published twice a year in an 11 x 14 format. Along with these benefits, members will also receive exclusive accessories like bandannas and hats, as well as early access to live events and product purchases. This includes the opportunity to purchase tickets to a music festival which is expected to have notable headliners.

Church and Wallen, along with a team of investors, have acquired the Field & Stream retail brand from Dick's Sporting Goods and the media component from Recurrent, a digital media company.

In a statement, Church expressed how his grandfather used to have some of his most cherished Field & Stream magazines displayed on the dashboard of his truck. These magazines held great significance for Church, serving as his source of inspiration and guidance. He considers it a tremendous honor to continue his grandfather's legacy, ensuring that the values and traditions associated with Field & Stream are preserved. Church believes that his responsibility extends not only to upholding the reputation of this iconic American publication but also to honoring the memories of a young boy sitting in his grandfather's truck. This sense of duty will serve as a guiding force in their endeavors.

Wallen expressed his love for spending time with friends in various outdoor settings such as around a campfire, on a boat, or in a deer stand. He believes that Field & Stream embodies all of these experiences and being a part of its future is a remarkable opportunity. He aims to continue bringing people together in the great outdoors and creating lasting memories for future generations.

Currently popular news includes the release of a diss track by Nicki Minaj towards Megan Thee Stallion titled 'Big Foot'. Additionally, it has been reported that Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, has been ordered to serve house arrest. There are also rumors of a secret plan by Trump to increase presidential immunity to levels similar to those of 'King George'. In other news, Nicki Minaj seems to be upset about a supposed diss from Megan Thee Stallion. The media industry has been facing difficulties recently, with layoffs occurring at Pitchfork, Sports Illustrated, and the Los Angeles Times. A press release regarding the relaunch of Field & Stream magazine emphasizes that the current editor-in-chief, Colin Kearns, will continue in his position along with his editorial team. Doug McNamee, the former president of Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia brand, will be overseeing the brand.
