Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully focused on preparing for their upcoming baby. Summer recently gave her followers a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories.
During the weekend, the spouse of the singer responded to several inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the revelation of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but because it had taken them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared that they faced immense difficulty in conceiving their child, Presley. They struggled for a duration of two years and were advised to undergo IVF. However, the moment they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure, they miraculously conceived naturally. Reflecting on this experience, Summer and their partner decided to start trying for another baby in October, anticipating a potentially lengthy journey once again.
She discovered her pregnancy one morning when she decided to take a test. Initially, the test seemed to show a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and needed to use the bathroom, so she thought it would be a good time to take the test since she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. She observed the test, and it appeared to be negative, which disappointed her. She then discarded the test in the trash and went back to bed.
Luckily, the story did not come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the trash and recheck the results. To her surprise, the test showed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results, and she had forgotten that pregnancy tests require a few minutes to fully develop.
In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was caught off guard when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. She was particularly surprised because some of the symptoms she experienced during this pregnancy were significantly different from her first one. During this second pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was expecting a boy. She even had chosen the nursery theme accordingly.
Earlier this month, Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza to expose pink slips of paper beneath. Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were both taken aback by the news of expecting another girl, but they express great enthusiasm about it.
The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is of utmost importance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies for now. While I won't completely rule out the possibility, currently we do not have any intentions or arrangements for a third baby.
The couple is having a disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer says that Pardi, who previously chose their first child's name, doesn't like any of her suggestions for their second child. As a result, they are currently not talking, although Summer is just joking about it. She also provided a list of her favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020 and their daughter, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they made the announcement about their pregnancy, they revealed that they had been attempting to have a baby since their wedding. They sought advice from doctors during this process but decided to take a break from trying to conceive. Surprisingly, they became pregnant soon after taking this break.
