Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. Jon Pardi and his wife Summer recently revealed to their fans that they are expecting their second child. The couple is now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their baby, and Summer provided a glimpse into her ongoing pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.

During the day of Saturday, the wife of the singer responded to several inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. One of the questions she addressed was how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they were not actively trying, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to conceive their first child, who is currently one year old and named Presley.

Summer shared in one slide that they experienced difficulty conceiving their child, Presley, for a period of two years. They were advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF), but surprisingly, they conceived naturally as soon as they decided to disregard the IVF option. In October, they made the decision to start trying for another child, anticipating another challenging journey, but were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected outcome.

On the morning she discovered she was pregnant, the woman began her day by taking a pregnancy test. Initially, the test showed a negative result, causing her to feel disappointed. She promptly discarded the test in the trash and returned to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the discarded pregnancy test to examine it once more. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results and had momentarily forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully show the outcome.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl, particularly because she had experienced significantly different symptoms compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe she was carrying a boy. She had even chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.

Earlier this month, Pardis used a creative method for revealing the gender of their baby. They pulled apart two slices of a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper hidden underneath. Despite being caught off guard by the news of expecting another girl, Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, expressed their immense excitement.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is of utmost importance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies and while I won't completely rule out the possibility, we currently do not have any intentions or future plans for a third child.

The couple is not in agreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer says that Pardi, who picked their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child and believes he gets to choose the name again. As a result, they are currently not talking about it, although Summer says she is just joking. She also provided a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer have been married for a year now, and their baby Presley was born in February 2023. When they revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been actively trying to conceive since their wedding. They even sought medical advice before deciding to take a break from their attempts, which ultimately led to their successful pregnancy.
