Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple, known for their country music, have revealed to their fans that they are expecting another baby. They are now fully focused on preparing for the new addition to their family. Summer, Jon Pardi's wife, answered questions from fans about her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.
During the weekend (Jan. 27), the spouse of the singer responded to a selection of inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and infants. This included revealing the tale of how she discovered she was expecting this time. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but rather because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their first child, Presley, who is now one year old.
Summer shared in a slide that they faced numerous difficulties while attempting to conceive their child, Presley. They struggled for a period of two years and were advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, they miraculously conceived naturally when they abandoned the idea of IVF. Due to this experience, in October they made the decision to try for another baby, anticipating that it could be another arduous journey.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with her taking a test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks. After seeing the negative result, she felt disappointed, threw the test in the garbage, and went back to sleep.
Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and reexamine it a couple of hours later. To her surprise, the test result was indeed positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing results rapidly, and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to show a complete outcome.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was surprising for her because she noticed that some of the symptoms she experienced during this pregnancy were quite different from her first one. During this time, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was having a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
Earlier this month, a person named Pardis used a unique method to reveal the gender of their baby. They pulled apart two slices of a pepperoni pizza, which revealed pink slips of paper underneath. Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were both pleasantly surprised to learn that they will be welcoming another girl into their family. Despite the surprise, they are extremely thrilled and looking forward to this addition.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is the top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies, although I cannot definitively rule out the possibility of a third baby in the future, currently we do not have any intentions or plans for it.
The couple is having a disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer believes that Pardi, who chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child. She jokingly mentions that they are currently not speaking because of this. Summer also shares a list of her favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020, and their child Presley was born in February 2023. When they initially revealed their pregnancy news, they mentioned that they had been attempting to conceive since their wedding day. They had sought advice from medical professionals and took a break from trying to have a baby, but surprisingly, they soon conceived after that.
