Jon Pardi’s Wife Shares Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy Journey

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse has shared the exciting news of their second pregnancy with their fans. They are now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their new baby. Summer, Jon Pardi's wife, recently gave fans a glimpse into her current pregnancy journey through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the story of how she discovered she was expecting for the current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not due to lack of effort, but because it took the couple a considerable amount of time to conceive their first child, Presley, who is now one year old.

Summer shared in a slide that it was quite challenging for them to conceive their child, Presley. They attempted for two years and were informed that they would need to undergo IVF. However, they miraculously conceived naturally when they decided to let go of the pressure. As a result, in October, they opted to begin trying for another baby, just in case the process turned out to be lengthy once again. Surprisingly, they were met with yet another surprise.

The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially seemed to show a negative result. "I woke up very early one morning and needed to use the bathroom, so I decided to take a test because my partner and I had been trying for a baby in the past few weeks. I observed the test, saw that it turned out negative, felt disappointed, threw it away, and went back to sleep."

Luckily, the story did not come to an end. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test she had thrown in the garbage to double-check. To her surprise, it showed a clear positive result. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests that provide quick results, forgetting that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer reveals that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she noticed some distinct differences in symptoms compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.

At the beginning of this month, the Pardis made a simple announcement about the gender of their baby by revealing pink slips of paper hidden under two slices of pepperoni pizza. Both Summer and her husband, a country singer, were pleasantly surprised to find out they were expecting another girl. She expressed their immense excitement about the news.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is the top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies, although I cannot definitively rule out the possibility of a third, we currently have no intentions or arrangements for expanding our family further.

The couple is not in agreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, does not like any of her suggestions for their second child's name. This has caused a disagreement between them, but Summer assures that they are just joking about not talking. She even provided a list of her favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer have been in a marital relationship since 2020, and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they made the announcement about the pregnancy, they also revealed that they had been actively attempting to have a baby since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors before deciding to take a break from trying to conceive. Surprisingly, they became pregnant shortly after taking the break.
