Summer, the wife of Jon Pardi, recently shared exciting details about her second pregnancy with their fans. The couple, known for their country music, are fully embracing the anticipation of their new arrival. Summer provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.
During Saturday (Jan. 27), the wife of the singer responded to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. She shared the account of how she discovered her pregnancy this time, which came as an unexpected surprise. She admitted that it was surprising because it had taken them a considerable amount of time to conceive their one-year-old daughter, Presley. This time, they weren't actively trying to conceive, making the news even more astonishing.
Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child Presley. Despite trying for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they unexpectedly conceived naturally when they decided to let go of their worries. As a result of this experience, they made the decision to start trying to conceive again in October, anticipating that it might take a while, but to their surprise, they were successful much sooner than expected.
Her day began by taking a pregnancy test, which initially indicated a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning, feeling the urge to urinate, and decided to take the test since she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the previous weeks. After observing the test, which showed a negative outcome, she felt disappointed. Consequently, she discarded the test in the garbage and returned to bed.
Luckily, the story didn't come to an end there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test she had thrown away earlier to double-check. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had been accustomed to the rapid results of COVID-19 tests and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully show the outcome.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer reveals that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another daughter. This was unexpected for her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this second pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous between weeks 5 and 10, which made her believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery, assuming it would be for a baby boy.
In the recent past, the Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices of a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper beneath them. Despite both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, being caught off guard by the news that they will be welcoming another girl into their family, she expresses their overwhelming enthusiasm and excitement.
The well-being and happiness of the baby is our top priority. We are currently content with having two babies, and while we never rule anything out completely, we do not have any intentions of having a third baby at the moment, she added.
The couple is not in agreement about the name for their upcoming baby. While Summer suggests various names, Pardi, who previously chose Presley's name, dislikes all of her suggestions. This has led to a temporary disagreement between them, although Summer adds that she is joking about not talking to him. To provide some insight, she shares a list of her favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. Upon announcing the pregnancy, they revealed that they had been actively trying to conceive since their marriage. They had sought advice from medical professionals before pausing their attempts to conceive. Interestingly, shortly after taking a break, they successfully became pregnant.
