Jon Pardi's spouse has revealed information about her second pregnancy. After sharing the news with fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are fully embracing the upcoming arrival of their second child. Summer gave followers a glimpse into her current pregnancy during a Q&A session on Instagram Stories over the weekend.
On a Saturday (January 27th), the wife of the singer responded to several inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. One of the questions asked was about how she discovered she was pregnant this time. She confessed that it was unexpected, not because they weren't actively trying, but because it had taken them a considerable amount of time to conceive their one-year-old daughter Presley.
Summer explained that they encountered significant challenges when trying to conceive their child, Presley. They struggled for a period of two years and were even advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, they unexpectedly became pregnant naturally almost immediately after deciding to let go of all the stress and pressure surrounding the situation. In October, they made the decision to start trying for another baby, anticipating another lengthy process. To their astonishment, they were pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After taking the test, she saw that it was negative, which disappointed her. She then discarded the test in the trash and went back to bed.
Thankfully, the story didn't conclude there. Summer, after a few hours, had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to double-check. To her surprise, the result was indeed positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer reveals that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was surprising to her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was expecting a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
Earlier this month, the Pardis used a creative way to reveal the gender of their baby by removing two slices of pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper underneath. Even though Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were caught off guard by the news of having another girl, she expresses that they are extremely enthusiastic and thrilled about it.
The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is of utmost importance to us. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I won't completely rule out the possibility, we currently have no intentions or future plans for a third baby.
Although this couple is expecting a baby, they have a disagreement about what to name their child. Summer believes that her partner, Pardi, dislikes all the names she suggests for their second baby. She jokingly mentions that they are currently not speaking because of this disagreement. Summer also shares a list of her favorite name options for the baby, including Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. They disclosed that they had been attempting to conceive since their wedding and had sought medical advice before taking a break from their efforts. Surprisingly, they quickly became pregnant after that break.
