"We will be holding auditions and using various methods to discover talented individuals. I believe this process will also be enjoyable for others," Parton remarks. "It's unpredictable where we may discover these individuals. They could be completely new to performing or have experience in small local theaters. However, our search for them will definitely add an element of excitement and enjoyment."
Parton has hinted at the possibility of a musical about her life on previous occasions. In a recent interview with People, she mentioned that she aims to have the show ready for production by the end of 2025.
