Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple, who are known in the country music scene, are excited about expanding their family and recently revealed the news to their fans. Summer, Pardi's wife, took to Instagram Stories to answer questions and give a glimpse into her current pregnancy journey.
On Saturday, the spouse of the singer responded to several inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the story of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came as a shock, not because they were not actively trying to conceive, but because it had taken them quite some time to get pregnant with their first child, who is now one year old and named Presley.
In one slide, Summer shared that they faced difficulties in conceiving their first child, Presley. They tried for two years and were even advised to undergo IVF. However, as soon as they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure, they were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had conceived naturally. Due to their previous experience, they made the decision in October to start trying for another baby, assuming it might take a while again.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. "I woke up very early in the morning and needed to use the bathroom, so I thought I would take a pregnancy test since we had been trying for a few weeks. I observed the test, and it showed a negative result, which disappointed me. I then discarded it in the trash and went back to sleep."
Luckily, the story did not conclude there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to reexamine it. To her surprise, the test showed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was surprising to her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe she was having a boy. She even had already chosen the theme for the nursery in anticipation of a baby boy.
Earlier this month, the Pardis used a unique method to reveal the gender of their baby by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza and finding pink slips of paper underneath. Both Summer and her husband, a country singer, were taken aback by the news of expecting another girl, but they are extremely thrilled about it.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I won't completely rule out the possibility of a third baby, we currently have no intentions or future plans for one.
The couple is having a disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had already chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child's name. She jokingly mentioned that they are currently not talking because of this disagreement. Summer also shared a list of her favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and Summer got married in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. They revealed that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding and had sought medical advice before temporarily stopping their efforts. Surprisingly, they conceived shortly after taking a break from trying to get pregnant.
