Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer, are fully focused on preparing for their new arrival. Summer recently provided her followers with a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the revelation of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they were not attempting to conceive, but because it took a considerable amount of time for them to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter Presley.

Summer shared in one slide that they faced a significant struggle in conceiving their child, Presley. They tried for a period of two years and were even advised to undergo IVF treatment. However, as soon as they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure, they were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had conceived naturally. Reflecting on this experience, Summer mentioned that in October, they made the decision to start trying for another baby, just in case it took a long time once again.

The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks. After observing the test, which showed a negative result, she felt disappointed. She discarded the test in the trash and went back to bed.

Luckily, the story did not come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage and double-check. To her surprise, the test showed a positive result. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests that provide quick results, forgetting that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the question and answer session, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl, especially since some of the signs she noticed during her second pregnancy were quite different from her first one. This time, she explains that she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery, assuming it would be a boy.

In recent weeks, the Pardis decided to creatively announce the gender of their upcoming child by uncovering pink slips of paper hidden beneath two slices of pepperoni pizza. Both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were taken aback by the news of expecting another girl, but they are thrilled and filled with anticipation.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While we cannot predict the future, we currently do not have any intentions of having a third baby.

The couple is not in agreement when it comes to choosing a name for their unborn baby. Summer says that Pardi, who selected their first child's name, dislikes all the names she suggests for their second baby. Summer jokingly mentions that they are currently not speaking because of this disagreement. She also shared a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020, and their child Presley was born in February 2023. When they revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been actively trying to have a baby since their wedding. They even sought advice from medical professionals before taking a break from their efforts to conceive. Surprisingly, they were able to conceive shortly after deciding to pause their attempts.
