Jon Pardi's spouse, Summer, has shared information about her second pregnancy with fans. The couple, who are prominent figures in the country music scene, are fully embracing the upcoming arrival of their second child. Summer provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy experience through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories over the weekend.
The singer's spouse shared some insights on pregnancy and babies during a fan Q&A session on Saturday (Jan. 27). Among the topics discussed was the story of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news came as a shock, not because they weren't actively trying to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to get pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in a slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child Presley. Despite trying for a duration of two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they miraculously conceived naturally when they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure. Consequently, in October, they made the decision to try for another baby, assuming it might take a while, but surprisingly, they were met with unexpected success.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early one morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the past few weeks. She observed the test, which displayed a negative outcome, so she felt disappointed, discarded it in the trash, and went back to sleep.
Luckily, the situation did not come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the discarded pregnancy test from the trash to recheck the results. She discovered that it was indeed positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing instant results, causing her to forget that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to show the complete outcome.
In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she noticed a significant difference in the symptoms she experienced compared to her first pregnancy. During this pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
In recent weeks, the Pardis used a creative way to reveal the gender of their upcoming baby. They pulled apart two slices of a pepperoni pizza, which uncovered pink slips of paper. Despite the unexpected news of having another girl, both Summer and her husband, a country singer, are extremely thrilled about the addition to their family.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is the top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies, although I won't completely rule out the possibility of having a third in the future, currently we don't have any intentions or arrangements for it.
The couple is currently not in agreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who already chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child and believes that he gets to choose the name again. As a result, they are currently not speaking to each other, although Summer adds that she is joking. She also provided a list of her current favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer have been husband and wife since the year 2020, and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they initially revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been attempting to have a baby since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors before deciding to take a break from trying to conceive. Surprisingly, during this break, they became pregnant.
