Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their second child, and they are now fully focused on preparing for the baby. Summer gave her followers a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories over the weekend.
The singer's spouse took the time to respond to some fan inquiries about pregnancy and infants on Saturday (Jan. 27). Among the topics discussed was how she discovered her pregnancy this time. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they weren't attempting to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.
Summer shared in a slide that they faced difficulties in conceiving their child, Presley. Despite trying for two years and being advised to undergo IVF, they eventually conceived naturally when they decided to let go of their worries. Inspired by this unexpected success, they made the decision to try for another baby in October, considering the possibility of another lengthy journey.
The day she discovered she was pregnant began with a pregnancy test that initially seemed to show a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive in the previous weeks. After observing the test, which indicated a negative outcome, she felt disappointed. Consequently, she disposed of it in the trash and returned to bed.
Luckily, the story didn't come to an end at that point. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to double-check. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results, causing her to overlook the fact that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.
In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was surprising to her because she had experienced different symptoms during this pregnancy compared to her first one. During this time, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was expecting a boy. She had even chosen a nursery theme accordingly.
Earlier this month, Pardis used a creative way to reveal the gender of their baby by removing two slices of a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink pieces of paper. Despite both Summer and her husband, a country singer, being taken aback by the news of expecting another girl, they express great enthusiasm and joy.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is of utmost significance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies, although I cannot completely rule out the possibility of a third, we currently do not have any intentions or arrangements for it.
The couple is currently having a disagreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child's name. This disagreement has led to a temporary halt in their communication, although Summer assures that she is joking. She also provided a list of her current favorite name options, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, and Skeye.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their child, Presley, in February 2023. They revealed that they had been attempting to conceive since getting married and had sought advice from medical professionals. After taking a break from their efforts, they were pleasantly surprised when they soon became pregnant.
