"It's exciting because you never know where we might find these individuals. They could be completely new to the stage or have previously performed in local theaters. Searching for them will add a sense of fun and anticipation to the project."
Parton has mentioned the possibility of a musical about her life before, mentioning it in various interviews. She expressed her desire to have the show ready by "late '25," as mentioned in her recent conversation with People magazine.
