Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details of Her Second Pregnancy Journey

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse, Summer, has shared information about her second pregnancy. The couple, who are known in the country music scene, are now fully focused on preparing for their new addition. Summer recently provided fans with some insights into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to address some inquiries from fans about pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was how she discovered she was expecting again. She confessed that the news was unexpected, not because they weren't actively trying, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to conceive their one-year-old daughter, Presley.

Summer shared in a slide that they experienced a lot of difficulty trying to conceive with their first child, Presley. They attempted for two years and were informed that they would need to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, unexpectedly, they conceived naturally as soon as they stopped worrying about it. As a result, they decided to start trying for another baby in October, just in case it took a while again, but to their surprise, they were successful sooner than expected.

She began her morning by taking a pregnancy test, hoping for a positive result. However, the test initially showed a negative result, which left her feeling disappointed. She had taken the test because they had been attempting to conceive in the previous weeks. After seeing the negative result, she threw the test in the trash and went back to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't conclude there. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to recheck the results. To her surprise, the test showed a positive outcome. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing fast results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she noticed significant differences in the symptoms she experienced compared to her previous pregnancy. During this second pregnancy, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery, assuming it would be a boy.

Earlier this month, the Pardis had a creative way of revealing the gender of their baby by using a pepperoni pizza. They pulled away two slices of the pizza to uncover pink slips of paper underneath, indicating that they were having another girl. Despite the surprise, both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, are extremely thrilled about the news.

The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies. While we cannot predict the future, we currently have no intentions of having a third baby.

The couple is not in agreement on what to name their upcoming baby. Summer says that Pardi, who already chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for their second child's name. She jokingly mentioned that they are currently not speaking because of this disagreement. However, she did share a list of her favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer got married in 2020 and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. They revealed during the pregnancy announcement that they had been trying to have a baby since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors before temporarily stopping their attempts to conceive. Surprisingly, they became pregnant shortly after taking the break.
