Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details About Her Pregnancy With Baby No. 2

  • by

Summer, the wife of Jon Pardi, recently shared some exciting news with their fans – they are expecting their second child. The couple is now fully focused on preparing for the new arrival, and Summer gave fans a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an interactive Q&A session on Instagram Stories over the weekend.

The singer's spouse took some time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the story of how she discovered she was expecting this time. She confessed that the news came unexpectedly, not due to a lack of effort in trying to conceive, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to become pregnant with their one-year-old daughter, Presley.

Summer shared in one slide that they faced significant difficulties in conceiving their child Presley. After attempting for two years and being advised to pursue IVF, they unexpectedly conceived naturally right after deciding to let go of all the worries. In October, they made the decision to try for another baby, assuming it might be another lengthy journey, but to their astonishment, they were met with a pleasant surprise.

She discovered her pregnancy one morning after taking a test, which initially showed a negative result. She woke up very early in the morning and decided to take the test because she and her partner had been trying to conceive for a few weeks. After seeing the negative result, she felt disappointed, threw the test in the trash, and went back to sleep.

Thankfully, the story didn't conclude there. Summer decided to retrieve the test from the garbage and recheck it a couple of hours later. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests yielding fast results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests need a few minutes to fully develop.

In another part of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected for her because she noticed several different symptoms during this pregnancy compared to her first one. During this time, she experienced intense nausea from weeks 5 to 10, which led her to believe that she was carrying a boy. She had even chosen a nursery theme accordingly.

At the beginning of this month, the Pardis performed a straightforward gender reveal by removing two slices from a pepperoni pizza, uncovering pink slips of paper beneath them. Despite both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, being caught off guard by the news of expecting another girl, she expresses their great enthusiasm about it.

The well-being and happiness of our baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I can't predict the future, we currently don't have any intentions of having a third baby.

There is a disagreement between the couple when it comes to choosing a name for their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who had chosen their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for baby number two. As a result, they are currently not speaking to each other, although she mentions that she is joking. Summer also provided a list of her current favorite names, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and summer have been in a marital union since the year 2020, and their child, Presley, was born in February 2023. When they initially revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been attempting to conceive a baby since their wedding and had sought advice from medical professionals before taking a break from their attempts. Interestingly, it was during this break that they swiftly became pregnant.
