Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. Jon Pardi and his wife Summer have revealed to their fans that they are expecting their second child. The couple is now fully focused on preparing for the arrival of their new baby. Summer recently provided her followers with a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.
The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to several inquiries from fans about pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the story of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news caught them off guard, not due to lack of effort, but because it took them a considerable amount of time to conceive their first child, Presley, who is now one year old.
Summer shared in one slide that they experienced a lot of difficulty conceiving their child, Presley. They tried for two years and were advised to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, they were pleasantly surprised when they conceived naturally after deciding to let go of their worries. Based on this experience, they made the decision to start trying for another child in October, anticipating that it might take a while once again.
She discovered her pregnancy in the morning when she decided to take a test. Initially, the test result seemed negative. She woke up early in the morning and had to use the bathroom, so she thought it was a good time to take the test since they had been trying to conceive for the past few weeks. After taking the test, she observed that it showed a negative result. Feeling disappointed, she discarded the test in the trash and went back to bed.
Luckily, the story didn't come to a close at that moment. After a few hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the trash and reexamine it. To her surprise, the result was clearly positive. She realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results and had forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully show the outcome.
In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback when she discovered they were going to have another girl. This is because some of the symptoms she had during her second pregnancy were very different from her first one. During this time, from weeks 5 to 10, she experienced intense nausea, which led her to believe she was carrying a boy. She even had already chosen a theme for the nursery based on this assumption.
At the beginning of this month, the Pardis used a pepperoni pizza to do a straightforward gender reveal. They removed two slices from the pizza to uncover pink slips of paper below. Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were both taken aback by the news of expecting another girl, but they express great enthusiasm about it.
The well-being of a joyful and healthy baby is our top priority. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I cannot predict the future, we currently have no intentions of having a third baby.
The couple is not in agreement about what to name their upcoming baby. Summer claims that Pardi, who picked their first child's name, dislikes all the names she suggests for their second child. Summer jokingly says they are currently not talking because of this disagreement. She also provided a list of her current favorite name options, which include Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.
Pardi and summer tied the knot in 2020, and their child Presley was born in February 2023. When they revealed their pregnancy, they mentioned that they had been attempting to conceive since their wedding and had sought advice from doctors before taking a break. Surprisingly, they became pregnant soon after halting their efforts to conceive.
