Jon Pardi’s Wife Reveals Surprising Details About Her Second Pregnancy

  • by

Jon Pardi's spouse has shared information about her second pregnancy. After announcing the news to their fans, Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are now fully focused on preparing for their new arrival. Summer recently provided a glimpse into her current pregnancy through an Instagram Stories Q&A session over the weekend.

The singer's spouse took the time on Saturday (Jan. 27) to respond to some inquiries from fans regarding pregnancy and babies. Among the topics discussed was the revelation of how she discovered her current pregnancy. She confessed that the news caught her off guard, not because they weren't actively trying, but due to the fact that it took them quite some time to conceive their first child, Presley, who is now one year old.

Summer shared in a slide that they faced immense difficulty in conceiving their child named Presley. They struggled for two long years and were even advised to undergo IVF treatment. However, as soon as they decided to let go of all the stress and pressure, they miraculously conceived naturally. Reflecting on their experience, Summer mentioned that due to the challenges they faced previously, they decided to start trying for another baby in October, assuming it might take a while. But to their surprise, they were able to conceive

She began her day by taking a pregnancy test, which initially gave a negative result. Early in the morning, she woke up and needed to use the bathroom. Since she and her partner had been attempting to conceive in the past few weeks, she decided to take a test. After observing the test, which indicated a negative result, she felt disappointed. Consequently, she discarded the test in the trash and returned to bed.

Luckily, the story didn't come to a close at that point. After a couple of hours, Summer had a feeling and decided to retrieve the pregnancy test from the garbage to double-check. She discovered that it was indeed positive. Summer realized that she had become accustomed to COVID-19 tests providing immediate results, and she had momentarily forgotten that pregnancy tests take a few minutes to fully develop.

In other parts of the Q&A, Summer confesses that she was taken aback by the revelation that they were going to have another girl. This was unexpected because she had experienced different symptoms during her first pregnancy. During her current pregnancy, she felt extremely nauseous from weeks 5 to 10, which made her believe that she was carrying a boy. She had even chosen the theme for the nursery based on this assumption.

Earlier this month, the Pardis revealed the gender of their baby in a creative way by pulling apart slices of a pepperoni pizza to uncover pink slips of paper hidden underneath. Both Summer and her husband, who is a country singer, were taken aback by the news of having another girl, but they are filled with immense joy and enthusiasm.

The well-being of a happy and healthy baby is of utmost importance. Additionally, we are content with having two babies at the moment. While I can't completely rule out the possibility, there are currently no intentions or discussions about having a third baby.

There is a disagreement between the couple when it comes to choosing a name for their upcoming baby. Summer believes that Pardi, who previously chose their first child's name, dislikes all of her suggestions for baby number two and believes he is taking charge of naming again. As a result, they are currently not speaking about the issue. However, Summer jokingly mentioned a few of her top name choices, such as Aspen, Grace, Nelli, Skeye, and others.

Pardi and Summer tied the knot in 2020 and welcomed their baby, Presley, in February 2023. When they made the pregnancy announcement, they revealed that they had been actively trying to conceive since their wedding. They had sought advice from doctors and took a break from their efforts before eventually getting pregnant shortly after.
