Parton mentioned that she might even lead a competition called "Finding Dolly," where they will conduct a widespread search to discover actors for three different versions of the main character. These versions include a young Dolly, a Dolly from her earlier years, and an older Dolly, as explained by the singer.
"We will be holding auditions and using various methods to discover talented individuals. I believe this process will also be enjoyable for people," Parton explains. "You never know where we might come across them. They could be completely new to performing or have experience in small local theaters. Our search for these talents will be an exciting part of the journey."
