Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the hit TV show "Nashville," recently revealed in an interview that the filming experience was emotionally challenging and left a lasting impact on her. Despite the show's success, Panettiere described it as a deeply traumatizing experience for her.
Panettiere played the role of Juliette Barnes, a country singer, in the TV series Nashville, which aired from 2012 to 2018. She has been vocal about her challenges with alcohol, opioids, and post-partum depression. In a recent interview, she reveals that the show's writers drew inspiration extensively from her own life experiences to shape her character's storylines, which added extra challenges to the filming process.
Right from the start, it felt like I was dating a football player and then Juliette also started dating a football player," Panettiere explains. "They then portrayed her as an alcoholic. Afterwards, they made her leave her daughter and go to some crazy place in Europe. It was very clear that they weren't being original with their storylines. They were simply taking inspiration from my own life and putting their own twist on it. And just like that, it was done and over with."
According to Panettiere, her time on the set of Nashville was highly fulfilling in terms of her career. However, she also shares that the experience was emotionally challenging for her as she felt like she was reliving her own personal life through her acting.
Panettiere is planning to undertake a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" in three different cities. Through this tour, she aims to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has personally experienced.
