In a recent interview, Hayden Panettiere, known for her role in the popular TV show "Nashville," revealed that filming the series had a significant negative impact on her. Panettiere described the experience as "very traumatizing." Despite achieving great success in her professional life through the show, she acknowledges the emotional toll it took on her.
Hayden Panettiere, known for her role as Juliette Barnes on the television series Nashville, revealed in a recent interview that the show's writers drew inspiration from her own experiences with alcoholism, addiction to opioids, and post-partum depression. This personal connection made the filming process particularly challenging for the actor.
Right from the beginning, it felt like I was dating a football player, and then Juliette starts dating a football player too," Panettiere explains. "And then they portray her as an alcoholic. Then they have her abandon her daughter and go to some crazy place in Europe, and it was very clear that they weren't being creative. They were just taking inspiration from my life and giving it their own twist. And just like that, it's finished."
Panettiere expresses that her time on Nashville brought significant professional success, but it was also emotionally distressing for her as she believed she was reliving her own experiences through her character.
Panettiere has planned a tour called "A Conversation With Hayden Panettiere" that will take place in three different cities. Through this tour, she aims to inspire and support individuals who are facing similar challenges as she has in her own life.
