Chris Young Cleared of Charges: Nashville Bar Incident Exposed

  • by

Chris Young has been found innocent and acquitted of all accusations related to the incident that occurred at a bar in Nashville on Monday night.

Glenn Funk, the District Attorney of Nashville, issued a statement stating that the charges will be dropped "after thoroughly examining all the evidence related to this case."

The concise statement did not provide any further details, however, Young's attorney requested that the case be completely dropped and an apology be issued after a video emerged showing Young being forcefully pushed to the ground by a TABC agent.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Night" can be seen extending his arm towards an agent, but he is forcefully pushed. Subsequently, the 38-year-old singer loses his balance and falls backwards into the bar, eventually landing on some nearby chairs.

Attorney Bill Ramsey expresses his belief that the arrest and charging of his client, Chris Young, at a bar in Nashville on Monday night was unjust and should not have occurred. Ramsey provides this statement to Taste of Country on Wednesday (Jan. 24).

Young and TABC had their initial encounter at the Tin Roof bar just a short while ago. According to the agency's report, Young raised his ID above his head and cooperated during the verification process. However, when he reappeared later, the report mentioned that he had bloodshot and watery eyes, along with speaking in a slurred manner.

A representative acknowledged that they encouraged Young to create space between themselves and someone else. Once the footage of the incident was released, the majority of the public formed a favorable opinion towards Young.

Taste of Country was given access to four different camera angles, which they used to create a video that allows fans to assess the level of aggression displayed by the person in question. So far, Young has not addressed the incident on any of his social media platforms.
