Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering leaving the acting profession entirely after the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the TV show Yellowstone. In the show, Kayce works as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), assisting him in his relentless pursuit to maintain complete control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This includes using any means necessary, even if they are illegal.
In October of 2023, he made his first venture into the country music scene with the release of his EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to an insider, Grimes, who initially had a strong passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely pleased with his new musical career. In fact, he is considering leaving behind acting altogether to fully devote himself to this newfound passion.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any new acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is focused on embarking on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is set to take the stage at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This performance is said to be a realization of Grimes' long-standing dream.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of seeing him in future onscreen projects. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to turn it into a full-time career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fear and take a chance. He recognized the opportunity that was presented to him and decided to see what would come of it.
He concluded by saying that even if creating this album is the only opportunity he ever gets in this particular field, it would still be completely worthwhile because of all the individuals he has had the chance to meet.
