There are rumors suggesting that Luke Grimes, known for his role in the popular show Yellowstone, might give up acting completely once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character of Kayce Dutton in the television series Yellowstone. In the show, Kayce works for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), and is responsible for enforcing his father's unwavering control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This control is maintained by any means necessary, even if it involves breaking the law.
In October 2023, he launched his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to an insider from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before achieving success as an actor, is extremely satisfied with his new musical venture. In fact, he is considering leaving acting behind and dedicating himself entirely to his newfound career in music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting offers. Instead, Luke is focused on going on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, the performer who is both an actor and singer has been scheduled to take the stage at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is described as a "lifelong dream" for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of seeing him in future movies or shows. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while he has always loved music, it was not something he was determined to pursue as a career when he was younger and playing in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explained that he had to overcome his fear and seize the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to take a chance and see what outcome it would bring.
He concluded by saying that if creating this album is the only accomplishment he ever achieves in this particular field, then it was completely worthwhile because of the connections and relationships he formed along the way.
