Could it be possible that Luke Grimes, the star of the hit show Yellowstone, is considering quitting acting once the show comes to an end? That's what a recent report suggests, stating that Grimes may be ready to leave the acting industry entirely.
In the television series Yellowstone, the character Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays Kayce Dutton. Kayce works as a protector for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), and is willing to do whatever it takes to maintain complete control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, even if it means breaking the law.
In October of 2023, he unveiled his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely content with his new musical venture. In fact, he may even consider leaving acting behind to fully dedicate himself to his newfound music career.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any new acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is actively seeking the chance to go on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to the source, the actor and singer is scheduled to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This is a dream come true for Grimes, as it has been something they have wanted to do their whole life.
This doesn't imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon hope of seeing him on the screen again in the future. In an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023, Grimes expressed that while music was his initial passion, he didn't have a strong desire to turn it into a career when he was younger and performing with different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to overcome his fear and take advantage of the opportunity that was presented to him. He made the decision to go for it and see what would come out of it.
He concluded by saying that even if this album is the sole accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, the experience of meeting all these individuals made it completely worthwhile.
