Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in the popular TV show Yellowstone, is reportedly considering quitting acting once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the television series Yellowstone. His role in the show is to act as an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), as he relentlessly strives to maintain his firm grip on the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. This includes using any means necessary, even if they go beyond the boundaries of the law.
In October 2023, he put out his first country EP called "Pain Pills or Pews". According to an insider from Life & Style, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is incredibly satisfied with his new musical endeavor. In fact, he is contemplating leaving his acting career behind to fully commit to his newfound passion for music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any new acting offers. Instead, Luke is eager to start traveling in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is set to have her long-held dream come true as she is scheduled to perform at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon hope of seeing him in future onscreen projects. In an interview with Taste of Country in December of 2023, Grimes mentioned that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to turn it into a full-time job during his younger years when he played in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he needed to overcome his fear and embrace the opportunity he had. He decided to take the chance and see what the outcome would be.
He concluded by saying that if creating this album is the only opportunity he gets in this particular field, then it was completely worthwhile because he had the chance to meet and connect with all of these individuals.
