According to Brown's interview on the Bobby Bones Show in 2023, he was originally scheduled to appear in her music video during their initial meeting. However, he had a conflicting commitment with his first show on that same day, causing him to finally meet her after a year.
The relationship between Kane and Katelyn progressed rapidly, leading to their marriage on October 12, 2018. They wasted no time in growing their family, as they welcomed their first child, Kingsley, on October 29, 2019, and their second daughter, Kodi, on December 31, 2021.
The couple also shared the news that they will be having another baby, a son, in the year 2024.

Despite Katelyn's decision to partially step back from her music career, the pair collaborated on a duet titled "Thank God" in 2022.
