Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering leaving the acting industry entirely once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character of Kayce Dutton in the TV show Yellowstone. In the show, Kayce works as a strong-arm for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), as he relentlessly strives to maintain complete control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, even if it means resorting to illegal methods.
In October of 2023, he introduced his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source from Life & Style magazine, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely content with his new musical venture. In fact, he is considering leaving his acting career behind and dedicating himself entirely to his newfound passion for music.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting offers. Instead, Luke is eager to start traveling in the near future.
According to the source, the performer who is both an actor and singer has been scheduled to showcase their talents at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is something that Grimes has always desired and is considered a lifelong dream for them.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of watching him onscreen in the future. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he did not have the ambition to turn it into his full-time career when he was younger and performing in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he had to confront and overcome his fear. He acknowledged the chance that he had and decided to seize it, uncertain of the outcome.
He concluded by saying that even if this album is the sole accomplishment he ever achieves in this particular field, it would still be completely worthwhile due to the connections and relationships he has formed with all the individuals involved.
