Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering leaving the acting industry once the show comes to an end.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character of Kayce Dutton in the TV show Yellowstone. In the series, he works as a tough guy for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), as they both strive to maintain complete control over their ranch, called the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. They are willing to do whatever it takes to keep their hold on the ranch, even if it means bending or breaking the law.
In October 2023, he put out his first country EP called "Pain Pills or Pews". According to an insider, Grimes, who initially had a passion for music before finding success as an actor, is extremely pleased with his new musical career. In fact, he is considering leaving acting behind to fully focus on his newfound path in music.
According to a source, he is currently not accepting any other acting opportunities. Instead, Luke is eager to embark on a journey in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and a singer, is scheduled to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is said to be a long-standing dream for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the idea of seeing him in future movies or shows. Grimes mentioned in a December 2023 interview with Taste of Country that while he has always had a passion for music, it was not something he felt compelled to pursue as a full-time career when he was younger and involved in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explained that he had to overcome his fear and take a chance on the opportunity that was presented to him. He decided to go for it and see what the outcome would be.
He concluded by saying that if creating this album is the sole accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, then it would have been completely worthwhile because he had the opportunity to meet and connect with all of these individuals.
