Luke Grimes, who gained global recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering giving up acting once the show comes to an end.
At the age of 40, Grimes portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the television series Yellowstone. In the show, his role is that of an enforcer for his father, John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner), who is determined to maintain strict control over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, regardless of whether his methods fall outside the boundaries of the law.
In October 2023, he launched his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews". According to Life & Style, a source reveals that Grimes, who initially had a passion for music and later found success as an actor, is extremely fulfilled by his new career in music. In fact, he is considering leaving acting behind and dedicating himself entirely to his newfound musical journey.
According to the source, he is currently not accepting any other acting offers. Instead, Luke is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to go on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is scheduled to showcase her talent at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is described as a lifelong dream for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the hope of watching him in future films. Grimes mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023 that while music was his initial passion, he did not have a strong desire to turn it into a full-time career when he was younger and performing in different bands.
In order to create his album, he expressed that he needed to overcome his fears and have a positive mindset. He recognized the opportunity that lay before him and decided to seize it, with an openness to whatever outcome may arise.
He concluded by saying that if creating this album is the only opportunity he gets to work in this field, then the experience of meeting all these individuals was completely worthwhile.
