Luke Grimes, who gained international recognition for his role in Yellowstone, is reportedly considering giving up acting once the show concludes.
Grimes, who is 40 years old, portrays the character Kayce Dutton in the TV show Yellowstone. In the show, his role is to enforce his father John Dutton's iron grip over the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, using any means necessary, even if they are illegal.
In October 2023, Grimes, a successful actor turned musician, released his first country EP titled "Pain Pills or Pews." According to a source, he is extremely satisfied with his new musical journey and is considering leaving acting behind to fully devote himself to his blossoming music career.
According to the source, the person in question is currently not accepting any new acting offers. Instead, they are focused on embarking on a journey or tour in the near future.
According to a source, Grimes, who is both an actor and singer, is scheduled to have a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California in April. This opportunity is said to be a long-held aspiration for Grimes.
This does not imply that fans of the actor should completely abandon the hope of seeing him in future onscreen projects. In an interview with Taste of Country in December 2023, Grimes mentioned that while he had a deep passion for music, it was not something he felt compelled to pursue as a full-time career during his younger years when he played in different bands.
In order to create his album, he explains that he needed to overcome his fear and embrace the opportunity, thinking, "I will not let fear hold me back. I have a chance to do something great, so I'm going to seize it and see how it turns out."
He concluded by saying that if this album is the sole accomplishment he achieves in this particular field, all the effort put into connecting with and meeting these individuals was completely worthwhile.
