The singer of "I Can Feel It" initially encountered Katelyn Jae in 2016, thanks to common acquaintances in the music industry. During that period, both were actively working towards their musical aspirations, and they swiftly connected due to their shared passion for music.
Brown has recently acknowledged that he and his spouse had the opportunity to meet earlier, but he chose to cancel their plans.
Brown explained on the Bobby Bones Show in 2023 that he was initially scheduled to be in her music video when they were first supposed to meet. However, he had a conflicting commitment with his first show on that day, so he didn't actually meet her until a year later.
Kane and Katelyn's relationship progressed rapidly, leading to their marriage on October 12, 2018. In a short amount of time, they also became parents. Their first child, Kingsley, was born on October 29, 2019, and their second daughter, Kodi, joined the family on December 31, 2021.
