The singer of "I Can Feel It" initially connected with Katelyn Jae in 2016 due to shared friendships within the music industry. Both individuals were actively pursuing their careers in music at the time and formed a strong connection based on their shared passion for music.
Brown has acknowledged that he and his spouse had the opportunity to meet earlier, but he chose to cancel the meeting.
During an interview with the Bobby Bones Show in 2023, Brown mentioned that he was initially scheduled to be part of her music video when they were supposed to meet for the first time. However, due to his first show happening on the same day, he was unable to meet her until a year later.
Kane and Katelyn's relationship progressed rapidly, and they got married on October 12, 2018. They wasted no time in starting a family, as their first child, Kingsley, was born almost a year later on October 29, 2019. Their second daughter, Kodi, joined the family on December 31, 2021.
The couple also shared the news that they will be welcoming their third child, a baby boy, in the year 2024!
After their initial encounter, Brown's professional success has soared. Despite Katelyn's decision to scale back her music pursuits, the pair collaborated on a duet called "Thank God" in 2022, which quickly topped the charts and left their fans yearning for additional joint projects.
