Conner Smith has released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is now available. One of his songs called "Creek Will Rise" is gaining popularity and quickly climbing the country music charts.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming performer was simply an average sixteen-year-old attending a live performance by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which left a significant impression on him.

At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. I still recall that it took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we had seats on the grassy area. During the performance, Thomas Rhett played his hit song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, we attempted to slow dance together, trying to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.

We have a moment of laughter, and then he continues the story by saying, "After about 4 years, I found myself on tour with Rhett. It was at that moment when I realized that I had ultimately come out on top, if you catch my drift."

Smith has recounted this story on several occasions during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the audience.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation in a romantic separation.
