Conner Smith has released his first album called "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise," is rapidly climbing the country music charts.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was an average teenager of 16 years, attending a concert of one of his beloved country music performers.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a Thomas Rhett concert. The show took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. One of the songs he performed was "Die a Happy Man," and during that moment, I attempted to slow dance with her, aiming to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.

After sharing a laugh, he proceeds with the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and had a moment where he felt like he finally got the upper hand in the situation.
