Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains," and his song "Creek Will Rise" is gaining popularity on the country music charts. Additionally, Thomas Rhett played a role in helping Conner Smith overcome the heartbreak caused by his ex-girlfriend.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was an ordinary 16-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for streaming, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I wanted to slow dance with her, trying to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith states that the following day, his partner ended their relationship with him.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he went on tour with Rhett and had a realization, thinking to himself, "I suppose I had the final satisfaction in that situation, if you know what I mean."

Smith has shared this anecdote with the audience a few times during his performances, and it has become a popular choice among listeners.

Let's discuss the ultimate way to seek revenge and validation after a romantic relationship ends.
