Not too long ago, the up-and-coming celebrity was an average sixteen-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience attending a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a concert by Thomas Rhett. I vividly recall that the concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man." At that moment, I attempted to have a slow dance with the girl I was with, aiming to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.
Smith shares that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett, and at that moment he realized that he had ultimately triumphed in the situation.
Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances, and it has become quite popular among them.
Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation in a romantic separation.
