Thomas Rhett has been a source of support for Conner Smith in moving on from a past relationship. Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" and his single "Creek Will Rise" is gaining popularity on the country music charts.
Not too much time has passed since the talented individual was an average teenager of sixteen attending a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.
In the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights available on demand, Smith shares a personal experience about going to a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant effect on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a concert by Thomas Rhett. The show took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the concert, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I remember attempting to slow dance with the girl, wanting to create a sweet and romantic moment.
Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and realized that he had the satisfaction of having the final victory in that situation.
Smith has recounted this anecdote multiple times during his performances, and it is highly appreciated by the audience.
Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and redemption in a romantic relationship ending.
