Conner Smith has recently released his first album, titled "Smoky Mountains". One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and quickly climbing the country music charts.
Not too long ago, the up-and-coming celebrity was an average 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on-demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which left a lasting impression on him.
At the age of 16, I had a date with a girl to attend a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man." I tried to slow dance with the girl and be affectionate towards her.
Smith further mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After sharing a laugh, he proceeds to narrate the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on a tour with Rhett and realized that he had ultimately triumphed in the situation.
Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances, and it has become a popular choice among the listeners.
