  • by

Conner Smith has released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is rapidly gaining popularity and climbing the country music charts.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an ordinary sixteen-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available to watch at any time, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant effect on him.

At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to see a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was the Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song 'Die a Happy Man,' and I wanted to slow dance with the girl I was with, trying to create a romantic atmosphere.

Smith mentioned that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.

We have a moment of shared laughter, after which he proceeds to narrate the story. "After about 4 years, I found myself on tour with Rhett, and in that moment, I realized that I had ultimately come out on top," he remembers.

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a popular choice among the listeners.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation following a romantic separation.
