Thomas Rhett’s Concert Helps Conner Smith Heal from a Breakup

  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is now available. One of the tracks from the album, "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and rapidly climbing up the charts in the country music genre.

However, not too distant in the past, the up-and-coming talent was simply an ordinary sixteen-year-old attending a concert by one of his beloved country music performers.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man" and at that moment, I tried to slow dance with the girl, attempting to create a romantic atmosphere.

Smith mentions that the following day, their partner ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. "About four years later, I find myself on tour with Rhett, and at that moment, I realize that I had the final triumph," he reminisces.

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a popular choice among them.

Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation in a romantic separation.
