  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his debut album, titled "Smoky Mountains." One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and quickly climbing the country music charts.

However, not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an average sixteen-year-old who attended a live performance by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a profound effect on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to attend a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue for the show was Ascend Amphitheater, and we had chosen to sit on the lawn area. During the concert, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and we attempted to slow dance together, aiming to create a sweet and romantic moment.

Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.

After a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately emerged victorious in that particular situation.

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a beloved choice among the listeners.

Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and validation that comes with seeking revenge after a breakup.
